This is the land art “I was born” in Rokko Meets Art 2019 in Japan. In Japan, there is a culture that respects the ground, and the ground is often compared to a mother. So this is an art piece to change the way you look at the earth, which you can usually step on.
The architectural design concept of the library station is based on the traditional Chinese bamboo writing slips, which were the main media and writing medium in China with a deep cultural and historical reference. Together with modern spatial composition, use of environmentally friendly materials and barrier free design, a comfortable and harmonious library station is created. The bamboo-tubes ceiling and bamboo-strips screen are few of the design features that bring the traditional reading atmosphere to life.
This is a dream installation for children in Yingchun Village, Junle Town, Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province. The Grand Sanhe Courtyard is one of the few local multi-family settlements，which is full of beautiful woods. Local people call these woods “Lin pan”, which means “winding woods”.
Instead of a literal translation of the Bauhaus aesthetic, we propose an architectonic experience that evokes both its original ethos and its current deviations. Our exhibition explores a severe sense of order, a kind of rational objectivity, together with a rather oblique presentation of the archival material. Beyond Bauhaus, in our view, can be understood as a form of ubiquitous transparency: a precisely regulated yet universal space that promotes a degree of mystery, curiosity and an endless variety of informal human encounters.

The installation #Blue-Screen Temple is reminiscent of the blue screen that serves to indicate a crash in a computer system.
Steampunk is a pavilion constructed from steam-bent hardwood using primitive hand tools augmented with the precision of intelligent holographic guides. Designed by Gwyllim Jahn, Cameron Newnham (Fologram), Soomeen Hahm Design and Igor Pantic with Format Engineers, the installation was built for the 5th edition of Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB 2019) in Estonia, and will remain in place until the Biennale’s next edition in 2021.
The main objective of the design is to create a site that naturally attracts visitors and encourages them to play actively. The interaction between visitor and museum was already unique in the folk sports barn. Another aspect that fascinates us as a designer is dealing with architecture and objects from the past, in a contemporary way.
Kansas City, MO. March 11, 2014–A triangular-shaped, glass-walled labyrinth designed by acclaimed artist and Kansas City native Robert Morris is being installed in the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. This dynamic sculpture will provide visitors with an intimate experience, enticing them to interact with the art by winding through the glass maze. The installation of Glass Labyrinth in the southeast section of the park marks the start of a six-month long celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park. The 62- foot by 62-foot by 62-foot, seven-foot-tall labyrinth, which weighs more than 400 tons, will be fully installed on May 22, when a public celebration will be held.
The Armada of Rouen, France, is an event that brings together the world’s largest sailboats and ships, every five years. Faced with the majestic immobility of the most beautiful boats in the world, passersby can take the time to stop on the installation carried out by the Collectif Parenthèse. The proposed scenography is organized in a harmonious dialogue between the geography of the site and the maritime architecture. A succession of vertical lines drawn by a wooden structure of masts and sails that accumulate on the site responds to the horizontality of the sheds, the wharves, the water, and the bank.
