The Learning & Teaching Building (LTB) for Monash University marks a new gateway to the Clayton campus. The LTB is a multi-faculty learning facility that serves a significant proportion of the student community. Innovative formal learning and teaching spaces are complemented by informal learning hubs that feature a variety of study settings. The modernist lineage of the campus brings with it a philosophy of creating building objects within the indigenous landscape setting. The design of LTB keeps learning activity close to the ground to create a connection with the campus landscape and imbue the building with qualities of various terrains.

Development of the new University Center in the southern part of the city of Lecco is an evolution of the preliminary project prepared by the Polytechnic University of Milan and is the winner of a tender. The area is crossed by Antonio Ghislanzoni street, which divides the space into different destinations: to the north-east, adjacent to the railway line, are the market space and the new green spaces; to the south-west, overlapping with the area of ​​the old disused hospital, is the new university facilities site. It is located in the Nanshan High-tech Development Zone and is the starting point of the new scientific research experimental area on campus. It is a model of the perfect combination and application of two emerging technologies of BIM and assembly. The project, designed by one of Australia’s most awarded architecture firms, m3architecture, hosts a flexible space for whole-of-cohort gatherings, as well as research and study areas. A strong feeling of connection to community and place dances through the Sibyl Centre’s design. The Women’s College Past Principal (2013-2019) Dr. Amanda Bell says space has been very well received by students. “The Sibyl Centre is conceived and designed uniquely for our women,” Dr. Bell says. “The students love the new building. They feel it’s a distinguishing piece of architecture for The Women’s College, and it speaks of women in its design.” “Women socialise differently.

Soochow University was founded in 1900 by the Protestant Council of Supervisors. Law School of Soochow University was founded after the Law Department founding in 1915. Then in 2000, Kenneth Wang, who graduated from the Law School and used to teach here, returned to his Alma mater Soochow University. His son Charles Wang donated to support the reconstruction of the Law School and organized an architectural design competition for the law School projec, which was only open to Chinese architects. t. Feng Zhenggong, nowthe National Master of Survey and Design, led the team and won the first prize with the theme of “Greeting a Century-old Campus, Blending into a thousand-year-old city”.

Bangkok University Interior Renovation / Imaginary Objects + HYPOTHESIS

This renovation exercise aimed to transform existing facilities at Bangkok University across two buildings. The scope of work included a student canteen, several labs, classrooms, and corridors. The two major spaces were the Canteen and Classrooms. In response to the increased mobility of students and the means of instruction, our design approach in both of these areas was to introduce more spatial permeability and versatility of use.
