Rodda Lane Intervention / Sibling Architecture

This is achieved at Rodda Lane by stitching together the warren of back-of-house laneways to provide a new focal point to the city campus through the addition of outdoor flexible spaces to improve student amenity.

Known as a vibrant arts campus, the School of the Arts is the artistic epicenter for the University of Nevada, Reno, encompassing the university’s art, music, theater, and dance departments. Originally designed by renowned Modernist architect Richard Neutra, the Church Fine Arts complex opened in 1962 and has since served as a welcome center new building for the university’s booming arts scene. Positioned in a central location on campus, the serves as a home to world-class performances and major exhibitions the entire community can enjoy.

DTU Bioengineering Research Building / Mikkelsen Architects

DTU Bioengineering is an education and research building that is part of the overall strategy for the expansion of DTU. The building is connected to the existing buildings 224 and 223 and comprises laboratories, research facilities, and teaching facilities. The building acts as a link between the two existing buildings, 223 and 224. Building 224 has been modernised and has undergone an energy renovation, in connection with the new build. Mikkelsen Architects’ role included architecture services, user processes, preparation of outlines and project proposals, and the main project, and in connection with the execution, managed part of the tender, as well as project follow up and technical inspection.

Stanley Pauley Engineering Building / Stantec Architecture

Western Canada’s oldest Engineering Faculty is nestled on a leafy campus along the Red River in Winnipeg’s South-end. The original 1907 Engineering Building was situated off the campus quad and along the original centre Beaux-Arts promenade, Chancellor Matheson Boulevard, which directly connected the main campus entrance and Administration Building. In the 1960s, the promenade was built over, compromising the original planning.

Colby College Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center / Sasaki

Sasaki teamed with Hopkins Architects for the design and implementation of the Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. At approximately 350,000-square-feet the facility was the largest building project in Maine at the time of construction and puts the college at the forefront of Division III athletics and as a leader in athletics facility program, quality, and performance.
