Still/Moving installs No New Worlds artwork alongside COP26 conference site
A 70-metre-long and six-metre-high artwork stating that there are No New Worlds has been installed at Graving Docks in Glasgow, directly opposite the main COP delegate zone.
Created by the Still/Moving art collective, the illuminated sign aims to highlight the links between climate change and colonisation.
“Still/Moving believe that patterns that mark colonisation: expansion, exploitation and extraction have brought us to this pivotal ecological moment,” said Still/Moving artist Léonie Hampton.
“We believe it is critical to constantly question the myth of infinite growth on a finite planet.”
