Spaghetti bridge competition is gosted by AUIS Engineering Club. There are many contestants groups making possible the one and only goal: only using a spaghetti to be build a bridge! Aesthetics and efficiency are the main points the final bridges will be judged by. Actually, the weight the bridge can handle compared to the actual weight of the build bridge. The aesthetics is determined by judges (engineering faculty and alumni of AUIS).
Spaghetti Bridge Competition
The efficiency will be determined the day of the competition on stage where the groups will load their bridges with weights until it breaks. Also side activities as a computer program set up for students to test their bridge building skills and a souvenir photo activity can be included.
