Portobello is a historic neighborhood on the southern outskirts of Dublin City, between the city and the tree-lined Royal Canal, giving it a uniquely lush atmosphere despite its urban location. The streets are predominantly lined with Victorian-era terraces of red brick dwellings. The elegant and intricate brickwork facades replete with decorative friezes, cornices, and chimneys showcase the craftsmanship and attention to detail of the time.

Seminar Building Philipps University at Pilgrimstein, Marburg / Dichter Architekturgesellschaft

The new seminar building at Philipps University was built after a competition entry won in 2016, including the design for the neighboring German Documentation Center for Art History (DDK). The ensemble consisting of the seminar building, the DDK, and the existing German Language Atlas Research Center (DSA) and completes the urban development between the old town of Marburg and the listed old botanical garden. The setting is based on an urban development competition from 2008, in which the Bär Stadelmann Stöcker planning office emerged as the winner and, together with the city of Marburg, defined the building lines and the maximum building height.

Lemay redesigns open-air theatre in Montreal’s La Fontaine Park

The HANOK Heritage House / Listen Communication

The recently completed Yeongwol Jongtaek is a traditional Hanok hotel with a total floor area of 16,332 m2, consisting of 78 buildings, 137 rooms (35 independent rooms, 102-row houses), a cultural exhibition hall, an outdoor banquet hall, a seminar room, a spa, and exercise facilities. This is the first private space of The Hanok Heritage House to be completed. To use the highest quality wood, we developed wood drying equipment. We dried the wood using a developed microwave method, lowering the moisture content in the wood to a maximum of 15%.

Damin School Renovation: Special Education School Campus Renewal / REAL Architects

Special Education School Campus Renewal. Founded in 1987, Ningbo Damin School is an excellent full-time school for children with special educational needs and disabilities. Moderate and severe intellectual disabilities are predominantly students enrolled in the school, and autistic students account for 1/4 of the total number of students. The campus as a whole is rather dated and needs some new energy.
