Manuel Herz encloses curvilinear hospital in Senegal with lattice brickwork

Swiss studio Manuel Herz Architects has unveiled the curvilinear Maternity and Paediatric Hospital in Tambacounda, Senegal, which is defined by its lattice-like brickwork. Built as an extension to a hospital in the town of Tambacounda in eastern Senegal, the building, commissioned by the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation and local charity Le Korsa, contains paediatrics and maternity clinics.
