JINS Tokyu Hands Ikebukuro Store is a branch store of an eyewear brand JINS at Tokyu Hans Department Store in Ikebukuro. JINS is a big eyewear chain with over 500 stores around the world, and their regular store designs are composed of wooden toolbox-like cabinets.The challenge was to propose a unique spatial experience simultaneously maintaining the association with their regular stores by using the existing furniture modules as well as using wood.

RSociety is an independent floral expressionist with strong self-narrative characteristics. 0321 completed their teaching base in China last year. It is a comprehensive use field that integrates training and teaching, brand display, and floral retail. Rs hopes that the designed spatial appearance will demonstrate a brand-new Rs, which simultaneously show the diverse relationship between floral art and space better.

The owner, with more than 30 years of experience as he has been immersed in tea culture since childhood, wants to share the wonderful Taiwanese tea with more diverse groups of people in different ways. That’s why he came up with the idea of having a tea appreciation space where Taiwanese tea culture can extend its roots.

CANALST. is a select shop introduced from Downtown New York. We hope it will bring the Downtown lifestyle to Shanghai by creating a retail storefront that merged the lifestyle of two cities with both local and Downtown ethos. In New York, you see the coexistence of the mark made hundreds of years ago back to the industrial age with the cutting-edge art, fashion and pop culture in our era. Such kind of inclusion and diversity resonate Shanghai. Differently, Shanghai’s unique ethos is built upon in Chinese traditional culture as well as nearly a century’s concession experience. As a rising international city, Shanghai is younger and more energetic. We perceived Shanghai is a bit of rebel but in the meantime, exquisite. More interestingly, the vulgar part is wrapped in Shanghai’s exquisiteness. The constant tension let everything new here has also been polished and precipitated by time. We hope that people visiting the store can feel and experience it.

East 11th Street is the “Main Street” of a very diverse neighborhood in east Austin, with a vibrant mix of small, locally-owned businesses, shops, and restaurants. Our site at the corner of 11th and Navasota anchors the eastern end of the pedestrian-oriented commercial strip, and overlooks the park-like Texas State Cemetery where the street character and scale shifts to a residential neighborhood.

The building is located in the Buenos Aires suburbs, in the town of Montegrande within the Esteban Echeverría district. It is a low-scale residential neighborhood that coexists with an old industrial and tannery sector and has become a logistics hub for distribution and storage.

Architecture and Fashion Design are fields of expression that can share many principles related to the ethical and aesthetic values of human culture. As a subtle synthesis, what was sought in this reformulation of the stylist Fernanda Yamamoto’s store in São Paulo, was the dialogue between structures that can manifest both what is ephemeral and what is perennial. From the new volumes of the dressing rooms, a space of vital importance for the ambiance of those who visit, the static dimension of architecture is constantly transformed by the possibility of changing the fabrics of the curtains that identify each collection of the stylist. Parallel to this, these same fabrics are surrounded by a diaphanous ‘skin’ – the glass – which, with its reflections and transparencies, causes them to take on distinct aspects, added to a new equally expressive lighting. Built in 2009, the fashion designer saw the need to transform and adapt store spaces to a new atmosphere.

Radius 58 is a new eyewear brand based in St. Petersburg, that produces fashionable budget frames of their own design. The founders of Radius are a young couple, who works without investors and sticks to the ideology of the family business. The couple decided to open their second showroom in Sevcable Port – an area that combines shopping, restaurants, bars, urban establishments, events and music festivals.

Wutopia Lab has completed Sinan books poetry store with the concept of ‘ Church in church’ , using 45 tons of steel in the historic site of St. Nicholas Church in Shanghai. As the largest professional poetry bookstore in Shanghai, it offers 1000 poetry books in different languages. A continuation of Wutopia Lab’s design style, magical realism based on antithesis, perforated steel plates, translucent, uncertain light, color and dramatic poetry could be found in the poetry store.
