Fangshan Wisdom City: Nanjing Foreign Language School, Fangshan Campus
On the side of Fangshan scenic spot in Nanjing, Fangshan campus of Nanjing Foreign Language School stands quietly, wrapped in red bricks and adjacent to Nanguang College in the south and California city community in the north. This is an international school that includes primary school, middle school, ordinary high school, and international high school. Although it has been put into use for a short period of time, it has aroused unusual attentions.

Threshing Ground under the Big Locust Tree / 3andwich Deisgn / Hewei Studio

Site status: public space and spiritual place of the old village. The project is in the old Hanhonggou Village, Qinyuan County, Shanxi Province, China. The village is located at the junction of the eastern suburbs of the county, 4 kilometers away from the county seat. The village was built in Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty, named after a flood discharge ditch in the village. There are 138 households in the village, with a population of 488. At present, most of the population in the old village has moved to live in the new village, and only four residents in the old village live there.

This project is located in Yunxiao, a county-level city of southern Fujian in China. With the development of the society, the younger generation often seeks employment opportunities outside the city. As a result, their children left behind have become the bridge connecting them with their parents. Parents would like to provide their children with better education and let them win at the starting line. However, they were beaten back to the reality by the stress and helpless of life.

The Platypus Cafe / Radius Interior Design Studio

Simple Longboards, a Vienna-based skateboard brand, planned to construct its first global concept store in 2019. Simple Longboards evaluated five cities as candidates for the shop location: Amsterdam, Seoul, Taipei, Tokyo, and Vienna. Ultimately, our city, Taipei, stood out and became the first location for Simple Longboards’ project for constructing global concept stores.

La Moitié Restaurant / One Fine Day

This project is about a multi-commercial space, including a restaurant on the 1st and middle floor, featuring one designer showroom on the 2nd floor. Space is running by a couple, by which the idea of how to create this space into one independent but suitable remains the design team ‘One Fine Day’ ( short as OFD as blowing )great challenge.

TGY Multi-Brand Fashion and Event Store / RAMOPRIMO

TGY is not a traditional store but a meeting place for fashion lovers, which will inspire people to talk about lifestyle, creatives to organize events and photographers to host their photo shootings. It embeds several main funtions in the same space: curated shop, flexible event area, temporary exhibition where guest designers can show their new fashion collections, a cafe’, beauty center and flower shop. The space is also meant to change throughout time offering its customers an ever-changing experience, slightly different from visit to visit.

Yi’s House Showroom / Peng & Partners

Space is a showroom including several furniture brands like HermanMiller and Ligne Roset. It is a spiritual architectural community that showcases the characteristics of brands and designs. Design thinking focuses on two main aspects: 1. How to find the best way to showcase the different characteristics of brands and furniture types in a single showroom. 2.  Not only displaying products but also providing a continuous space experience and artistic atmosphere.
