Circle Shade 2πR4 is a refined portable demountable and minimal canopy system designed and developed by Eva Jensen Design as a kit of parts for quick assembly. The design is based on the structural tripod concept with 3D printed rigid moment-frame connections. A single unit consists of only 7 parts: 1 canopy, 3 poles and 3 cylindrical counterweights. All joint connections are fabricated as high strength structural 3D printed nodes, and developed in collaboration with Laufs Engineering Design. The shading structure integrates outdoor furniture for use in a range of settings from park landscapes to waterfront and urban environments
