Combined Strap is a footing design often used in the construction field. Footing is the lower part of the foundation which is constructed below the ground level in solid surface. The purpose of footing is transferring the live and dead loads of the structure to the soil over a large enough area so that neither the soil nor the building will move. There are three types of footing: Footing Spread, Combine footing, and Footing Strap. And there are two sub types of the Spread footing: Strip/ Continous footing and Footing Isolated.
