Award Winners Stories of the 2017 Building of the Year Contest

Dezeen has teamed up with Laurence King Publishing to give away five copies of Frank Lloyd Wright Paper Models – a book presenting 14 kirigami designs based on some of the architect's most popular buildings. London-based Laurence King produced the new book with kirigami paper artist and Wright enthusiast Marc Hagan-Guirey – aka Paper Dandy.

Building of the Year Awards presented the 16 winners from over 3,000 published projects. They were all offering amazing platforms for the many diverse and global voices in the architecture. In every one of the project that come to the contest are years of research, design, and labor implemented as well. This is well recognized democratic architecture award, so they are also presenting the stories behind all those 16 buildings winning the title best for this year.
